Oops - just looked at my printed address label and corrected the name in the title.
I'm a bit short on time this month, so once again I have doubled up on the TLC and the Teapot Tuesday challenge. You can find Jean's TLC HERE, and Anita's TPT challenge HERE.
I also used TLC579, Hinged Panel Card for my fun-fold. Along with the hammered embossing, that gets me my extra cookies. You might remember we had a tea-party for Lorraine's cousin and my friend Barb back in July. Barb shopped her stash and sent me a few little bits and pieces last week as a thank-you, and I thought it would be fun to try to use them on other TPT cards. So on this one, the floral paper on the inner layer comes from her. I stamped my flower and then used a Cuttlebug floral ef to partially emboss around it. After sponging with Antique Linen, I then used a Darice large polka dot ef. I marked the vase on the back of the panel and scored lines across the foreground, then sponged with brown. My flowers are an old HA stamp - striped vase sketch, coloured with Polychromos pencils, and with some blue Liquid Pearls. Inside I used a lace sticker down the hinge, and as mentioned, some pretty paper from Barb as the main piece. I added a sentiment from ODBD (Scripture Series 1) cut with a Spellbinders oval. Both inside and out I added a little bird cut from the same Bazzill I used for matting the floral image.Â

Sabrina, this looks so much like your teaser! The fold looks like something even I could do! Beautiful and your hammered embossing adds a lot. Happy you could find some time to create! Good for the soul!

What a wonderful and colorful card. I love the fold, the blue of the birds, and the scripture. Thank you, my friend!

Beautiful job on your hammered embossing - the sponging definitely helps to accentuate the images - Both those birds are SO cool - amazing how much texture & design there is in such a small image.
