I am indeed lucky. First to have met and married a truly wonderful guy. This card is waaaaaaay early for our next anniversary, but I will put it away for then. We didn't meet when we were kids (except at heart), but I feel like I have been with him my whole life anyways because he is truly the only one for me.
Secondly, I am lucky because I was the random draw (my number was #20) in a Mo's Digital Pencil contest. I won the Jack and Ginger image and was asked to make a card with it for their blog. Which is why next year's anniversary card was made waaaaaaaay too early.
Several years ago I saw a card from a Penny Black DT member where she place the Valerie in Love stamp inside a speech bubble over the heads of an older couple sitting on a bench, I thought it was brilliant and wanted to CASE that card. Since Larry and I met more in the middle of our lives and we loved to dance, I decided to incorporate the Cheek to Cheek stamp as well. And, this is what it turned out to be. Pretty straight forward: print, color, glue. The sentiment is computer generated using Bird of Paradise font.
So, you see, I am doubly blessed this week and very lucky indeed. Hope you find some luck along your way and that your day is blessed with all the things you love and enjoy. TFL

Beautiful...sweet and the back story is as beautiful as your card! Stenciled clouds, glorious coloring on the figures, fantastic layers tell a story you're living (even the kids part)! Amazing card and so heartfelt.

Debbie, this is brilliantly done and so sweet! Great idea to do all the stages of life in it. So I know my hubby and me are the older couple on the outside but inside we are the others. This captures that for me and I love it! So heartfelt and sweet and he will love it! I do. Hugz

Ohhh Debbie this is precious and a true work of heART. Our stories are very, very similar - except the bit about winning Mo's contest. This wonderful card and your fabulous colouring has my face and heart smiling.

What a brilliant card this is! I love the story you tell in both your write up and in the card itself. Beautiful colouring and design both! Love MM's images and you have really done them justice here. Congratulations on being Featured Stamper this week!
