Welcome to Monday! Today's TLC features hammered embossing, which is simply to use an embossing folder to pinpoint some of the pattern in certain places, using a hammer or rolling pin. No running the folder through the Big Shot!
This card is the most subtle of the three. I used a feather ef and went for a more 'over-all' pattern, except in the middle. I started with the rolling pin, adding the hammer as I wasn't happy with the depth. I used the crumb cake cs but added a lot of the chalk ink and the other inks to bring out the pattern. I used a lovely sentiment and a pretty Zentangle feather and small flowers to compliment the feather background. I added some of the lavender chalk to the feather, flowers and the edges of the card base.
I hope you'll join in with the TLC team!

The subtlety is very cool! I can tell I'll be using this technique again. Probably sticking with the rubber mallet, since I'm not sure if I own a rolling pin. Not a baker! I have one EF in particular that leaves such a harsh imprint that it will be perfect with this softness.

Started off the AM with a slight headache, which really directed me to the rolling pin. Using both will wait for another time. Your three cards are enchanting!

Nice subtle design. The color makes me think of adobe bricks with a slightly rough surface. Great challenge.
