Welcome to Monday! Today's TLC features hammered embossing, which simply means using an embossing folder and a hammer or a rolling pin to pin point some of the folder's pattern. No sending the folder through the Big Shot or whatever machine you use!
This was the first card I made. It was truly an experiment. I think I chose my folder well, but I almost broke it. Hammer lightly, you can always go over the spot a little more. I used the chalk inks to highlight the spots, using a lavender and pink combo. Simple stamping with the triangle stamps, a sentiment apropos for the times and some sequins. I also added some of the chalk to the edges of the base.
I hope you'll join the TLC team today!

Jean, this is a wonderful technique, and you definitely chose a perfect EF. Glad you didn't break your EF. I remember years ago trying this before I got my Cuttlebug. Your colors are lovely, and it's a wonderful quote! Beautifully done, sweet friend! Thanks for your comment on my card. Hugs and love! xoxo

So interested to see how different the cards are with the effects of hammer and/or rolling pin. Fun challenge, mf! Love this card!

The highlighted partial embossing looks great, especially with those geometrics which at first I thought were Christmas trees. You do have a wonderful selection of sentiments.
