So happy to get this done to honor MaryJo aka Icela52, this week's featured stamper. I had already faved this one when MaryJo posted it: CAS602 green and purple by Icela52 at Splitcoaststampers
I really like this set and mine had not seen ink for awhile. I stamped first in Palette ink, masked it, and then stencilled some stripes. Then I smeared markers on a clear block and used a Koi waterbrush (the tip is finer) and colored in the flower stalk. (Out of my comfort zone.) I punched the butterfly out of the vellum dp and backed it with a real red one, gluing along the flocked lines so that the glue would not show thru too much. This will go to our neighbour for her upcoming birthday. Congrats MaryJo. Hope you enjoy your week and thanks to you and your talent, I got a birthday card made. Forgot to state my changes: Different flower color, added stencilling.
