Yay! Ardyth chose MaryJo (Icela2) as this week's Featured Stamper. She is super sweet and has a wonderful gallery. She made a lot of great DTGD cards and I cased two of them. For this card, I cased this one from her gallery:
Instead a stamped butterfly and die cut leaves, I die cut my butterfly, water-colored it, and splattered the background around it. Watercoloring a die cut is this week's watercolor challenge technique (WCW015) - chosen by Linda (Holstein).I put it off as I couldn't decide on what die cut to use.
Thanks for the inspiration, MaryJo. Enjoy your week as well. Hugz

An absolutely glorious butterfly--wow! I love how you have colored it with bright swashes of color, and the splatters of color on the top page adds to the beauty and the artistry.
I really like the linear quality of the font of the sentiment, it really adds to the CAS quality of this wonderful card.
Favorited, and I will be putting this on my list of CAS Favorites later today.
I agree with another member who stated that it looks like this butterfly is ready for flight. So much motion that you have captured, and I'm so very impressed with this!!!
