This card is for the Alpha challenge. V = vintage, violet. It is also for the DTGD challenge to create a card for an era. My favourite era would have been the 20s and I can picture this lady sending her love to her sweetheart....before she heads out and kicks her heels up doing the charleston twirling her pearls..lol.
Back to my card...Well it all started with the shaving foam technique. Those who know me know I've made a lot of panels for this technique. I just love it. This one was just a messy blotchy mess with some swipes of colour in places.
I chose my chipboard lady first and went from there. As the panel had some of the colours that were in the chipboard I thought it would work. It was a little toned down so I thought why not try and see how Timmy's distress inks go with shaving foam. I've been doing his 101 class lol. Well they added more pop to the colours and I was loving playing.
Stencilled some leaves on the BG and then got out my new TH's stamps and also a 49&market thread stamp and stamped around the edges with TH's Forest Moss. I like it rather than using my black inks.
Added more chipboards and added to my double panels.
TFL. Happy day...now where's my pearls..time to have a twirl lol.

Oh - WOW Jayne. This is my style of vintage. Lots of things I love about this card - pearls, violet (flowers and colour) and a pretty lady with flowers in her hair. Just gorgeous

Adore this card. The vintage girl is wonderful, your chemistry stuff is perfect, and I love the stamps you used. Those classes with Timmy have inspired you - I see it. Now I want to go do them! Fun card and soooo pretty! Hugz
