This card is for the Alpha XE challenge = Xmas and also E for embellishments (dimensional magic/bling). It is also for Mary's DTGD challenge and today's Ways To Use It Challenge to create a card using angles.
A friend at our monthly craft group was making a few of these following a YouTube videos it's not my design. It's a really easy card to make and the effects are so beautiful. So I decided to make one too.
Using post-it notes, tear strips and use as a mask and place on your cardstock at an angle. Sponge. I used 4 different Catherine Pooler inks and you basically can use any colours you want. One of our ladies made a panel with blues and pinks and donated it to me afterwards and I will use it for a Xmas card. I used purple, green, yellow and pink.
Once you are happy with your sponging, stamp your trees, then move your mask down again. Same process and keep doing that until you get near the bottom leaving space for your sentiment. Stamped the sentiment.
We then decided to give the snow hills some dimension and added dimensional magic. Oh my...it is gorgeous IRl and actually changed some of the colours on my card which improved it LOL. I decided to flick white wink of stella and to try and put some stars on there but my pen wasn't cooperating so out came my perfect pearls and I splattered that on too. Added bling, stickles and done.
Here is the video for those interested. So easy to create and gives a beautiful look.
Dimensional magic is similar to glossy accents.
Check out today's Ways to Use It Challenge and the others.
TFL. Happy day

I love this card too. What a beautiful snowy creation. What a great idea for a Christmas card. The colours in your snowy hills is again so soft and pretty. You are on a roll with this one too.
