Our Texas couple, Paula & Howard like gnomes and though this old Comotion stamp is labeled as a troll, to me he is gnome-like without a hat. He was colored and fussy cut on a sticker label and placed over the embossed geode, which was placed just so on this marbled paper, made and given to me by my dear friend. A little clear Wink of Stella is in the center blue swirl and a Wink of Stella gold star was drawn on that teeny owl.

I wouldn't have known the difference between gnomes and trolls but then I looked it up. I think us teapotters will need to do a bit of mediation or at least keep an eye on these two different characters. I found out that trolls are larger, dirty, naughty and enjoy playing ugly cruel tricks on gnomes but although trolls are a lot larger in size, the gnomes are a lot smarter. We could have an interesting party this week. Maybe it's time for a bit of a ruckus.
Love the bg on this card and think the troll is charming. Nicely done.

Beautiful colors on the marbled paper! Great design with the the troll! .I still remember the story about three trolls from when I was quite small......Was one if my favorite stories at the time. Your card is gorgeous and the owl looks quite cute as well! TFS

Oh my, that hand-marbled paper is breathtaking! Sooo gorgeous! Your troll is very friendly-looking, so I think he'll get along quite well with all the gnomes! TFS!

Your marbled paper is gorgeous and the geode stamp is a perfect pairing. When I first saw this, I thought it was a piece of wood and with those big rings from an old and sturdy tree. With your sentiment, I thought probably oak. Either way, it's magnificent and I think a beautiful backdrop for your troll. Personally, I am more partial to gnomes because, as Vicky pointed out, trolls can be quite troublesome; but, this guy looks very friendly indeed. Love how you snuck you star into the design too. Fabulous card and I am sure Howard and Paula will adore this one.
