The pitcher and foliage were die cut using watercolor paper.....then watercolored. The bg was done by layering stencils and shading with THOI....turned out a little wonky, but I liked it....maybe like a quilt in the bg.

Yes - could be a quilt but it definitely gives the whole card to me, a country kitchen feel. I am most fascinated by that pitcher and all the different colors I see as I look deeper into it's shadows. I think I am most surprised by the pinks since I wasn't consciously aware of them at first or even second glance.
