I started by dabbing in a cloudy sky, then channeling my inner "Bob Ross" painted in some "happy little Mountains" with a large aquabrush. So far this looks like what I see in my head. Then with a 2" natural bristle brush (cause I didn't want this to take forever LOL) I applied more water followed by several shades of blue brushed randomly across the bottom two-thirds. While this was drying, I die cut my duck, reed & islands from more WC paper then painted them with dabs of color left on my palette from a previous project and arranged on my card front. Finished with some ripples near the seashore with a white gel pen and my duck's eye with a black sharpie. This was one of those cards that came together easily and it's nice to have a day like that !

Wow!!!!! First I see those majestic mountains and then my eyes go down and see one peaceful scene. It really looks like a painting. Love all the details...the shading and the white on the water. So well done. Happy you had fun.

Oh my, what a great scene you've painted. Bob Ross has nothing on you. I love this and glad it was simple for you today. You used some very pretty die cuts, also.

How pretty, Linda! I love your "Bob Ross" mountains, lol. The whole scene is wonderful. I used to watch him on tv when I was a kid...that 'fro he had was astounding.
