Card for Polly's (peeps321) Teaparty, In The Heart of Texas. You'll need to go there and read up on what gnomes have to do with the Heart of Texas!
Our recipients this week need some encouraging words, and maybe a chuckle or two. I sure hope my meditating gnome in the garden will bring them a chuckle, or at least an "Awww...!" After all, he is meditating on their situation, and is thinking good thoughts for them!
I printed the gnome digi on regular printer paper at 3.5x5". After I colored him, I ran the image thru the Xyron. Adhered it to a piece of cheap white CS, & fussy-cut it out. Used a black brush marker to go around the cut edges for definition.
The stencil is called "Mermaid Lagoon" but it does have STARS in it, so I thought it could pass for the sky.
It's hard to tell in the photo, but I added a bit of yellow from the gel pen to the flower center in the bubble, and also a bit to each of the flowers in the border. They really don't look like Texas bluebonnets, but they are blue...

SO cute! I love how you added the blue flowers on the fence. Extra cookies for you including the stars ;) I also like how you have the hat extending about the card...great detail.

He is a very zen looking gnome, I think my sister worked like over like him for her garden. Great stencil, and I like your combined fence and floral edging.

You put a lot of love and thought into your sweet card. Great stencil choice for your sky and I'm gonna try stamping on the fence, next time I need one. Wonderful ideas.

Adorable image and I can feel the zen from here. I love the colors you used on this and that stencil works great for a sky. And I, too, will have to remember you trick to stamp on the fence. These flowers look delightful there and a great touch. Definitely feels bluebonnetey to me. Great card and I'm sure they will really appreciate the positive zen thoughts.
