This card was made as an inspiration card for two different card challenges who were partnering. One challenge provided a sketch, while the other challenged us to use an "over the edge" technique.
I found a really good video tutorial by Jennifer McGuire for the technique, that I'm linking to here, so won't repeat her instructions (https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...ut-cards.html). I used flower stamps and their matching dies to create the front of the card which has the deep red flower and the right side of the leafy stem as the right edge. For the inside, I used a 1-1/2" wide strip of Stampin' Up! (SU) Wisteria Wonder cardstock to create a contrast background for the overlapping card front.
For the horizontal lavender panel on the front, I used the same two dies (flower and leafy stem) to cut the right edge of the panel so it allowed them to show through, instead of covering them up. A little tricky, but not too bad.
I am rating difficulty level of this card as a "3" out of a possible "5". You MUST have a matching die, or use a digital cutting machine to create the effect of the flower extending beyond the edge of the card front.
