This was big fun to do, in the Messy, Mixed and Joyful challenge I saw this fun technique and loved to play with it, the bg is made with masking tape, covered with a layer of gesso, used izink spray inks to color, once dry I've added copper wax and gold paste went over with black wax crayon and memnto chocolate ink pad, I've put 2 pictures together to show a different angle from the card to see the gold shimmer, Polly asked us to think about wild life, in our mountains we need to protect, bears, wolves and eagles, there are less and less...
The wolf is stamped and I've cut it out and added foam to make it pop, the eagle is stamped on the card and highlighted with white posca

What great texture in your background, and I love all that golden shimmer. I bet your DH likes this, with the wolf. We were just looking at our photos from the Pyrenees recently.
