This card is for the Sketch challenge and also the Colour challenge.
I love these colours together. I also love butterflies. When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to put butterflies in the five spots on the sketch and I have a few butterfly dies. I chose the SU one not only because it is beautiful but I could cut the butterflies down and choose which ones to use.
I also had the right colours on a shaving foam technique panel in my stash and used that to die cut the butterflies. The panel behind was embossed using my butterfly EF. Stamped my sentiment and done.
So I thought. I was happy with my card and even though I had taken a little liberty with the sketch and chose not to add another panel on one side. I did, however decide to add liquid pearls. It was when I got to the third butterfly...which is no longer in this card as the liquid squirted out over my panel. A big big doh, but as I'm having a good day and realised it was a small thing, I get out my paints and think I can cover it up. Nope, so off I go ripping everything off and manage to safely transport 4 of my butterflies losing my sentiment lol.
So off I start again and cut one more butterfly, emboss my panel and carefully squirt my liquid pearls. Stamp my sentiment again and done.
This card is an easy design...give the sketch a go. Just be careful if you use liquid pearls. I now know to test it before I use and release the air bubbles.
TFL. Happy day

This is just so pretty. Love the colours of the different butterflies - and they stand out so well against the white embossed background. Just beautiful and peaceful.

Beautifully done... I'm sorry you had to redo somethings but your hard work paid off, it's gorgeous! You did a great job of combining two challenges and the shave cream technique was an awesome idea. It's cool it was already in your stash! TFS
