OK...confession time. At first, I hated this challenge. I just didn't like the way my art looked. I liked the colors, just not the results. And, I think I was pulling too hard because my paper was pilling. HOWEVER, once I let it dry and cut it up it made me much happier. I love the way this looks now! Moral of the story...persevere. Second moral: look at things in a different light.

It came out great! I just mentioned on the chat forum for my challenge, that on a couple of mine I had to do something similar. I just borrowed a page from Jennifer McGuire's playbook and broke up the backgrounds. One by cutting it into strips that I reassembled on another panel of cardstock, & the other by putting a grid of cardstock strips over it. Glad you persevered, and played along in my challenge!
