I had several possibilities I considered and this is one that I carried through. I bought my first ever proper stand mixer during lockdown...I saw one remaining in the local discount supermarket on the way home from work one Friday. Well, I wasn't going to be able to carry that on my bicycle - so we drove down the next morning and it was still there, and it's seen great use since it came here. My dark Russian rye bread comes out of it a whole lot lighter than when I knead it by hand , and marshmallows are a whole lot easier.
My background is Brushos on a coffee filter, I expect it was left from a coffee filter background session. I stamped it with the measuring jug, trimed it to size and edged it with a black marker.
I cut the apron from black card, and from a scrap to patch the pockets on. I stamped the Diva Chef and sentiment on white card and fussy-cut them. The chef is coloured with Polychromos pencils. I added ribbons to the apron for ties. The food mixer was cut from scraps, and edged with a marker for a bit more definition (Mine is actually white and turquoise).

Sabrina, this is lovely! Perfect that the bg is a coffee filter! I am happy in my kitchen, too. However, I still don’t own a stand mixer. Kind of hard to believe as I love to bake.

What to do on the rare occasion that you could get a day off, right Sabrina? I know how busy you've been! I have a beautiful mixer that lives in my basement because I have no room in my kitchen. By the end of the year, I should have a new kitchen with room for it! Anyway, I love the fun design of your card with the mixer and the fab apron!

Fun card! Cooking, especially baking is one of my happy places also! I love your apron with all the fun pockets and the cute little spoons etc in them.

I love that chef (thanks for sending some to me...Erin loves them!). Great bg for the apron, and the mixer is fab. How lucky you got it, when it might have been gone the next day. I bet the things coming out of your kitchen are wonderful!
