I love copper and turquoise together, so I really like to use this background paper. I used DOX to color the cream paper and then punched the leaf from it. Using my copper gelly roll pen, I edged the punched leaf and gave it some veins. I mounted the piece with the punched space on bronze metallic paper to give it depth, then I layered all the papers. I attached the punched leaf just slightly off so that the negative would look like a shadow. No good reason for the â strawsâ- I just wanted to keep adding!

Lovely colours and the square format looks great here too. Punches work very well here - great thinking! Perfect fall card ...not that I am looking for fall just yet.! :-)
