Join us this week in Tuesdayâs Color Challenge #CC807, weâd love to have you participate in all the fun! Karen, our wonderful hostess this week selected some awesome colors to coordinate with her dessert option: âThe Last of Rose of Summerâ Yesâ¦I served you dessert first! Teehee! Ok, are you ready? Highland Heather, Rococo Rose, and Pear Pizzazz are the fabulous colors! Iâd love to see your âlate rose of summerâ, Iâll be keeping an eye out for yours!.
The stenciled background was created by using two patterns from SUâs Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, the first, a filigree for the background and the second, a dotted frame for the sentiment. The colors Highland Heather and Rococo Rose ink were sponged onto the filigree stencil randomly with the colors mixing in some areas. A triangle of dots were created by using painters tape and sponging a triangle of dots to create a frame for the Highland Heather roses.
A rectangle was cut at a diagonal to create two triangles. Both triangles were adhered in opposite corners creating a space for a sentiment to run diagonally. The sentiment from Ornate Thanks was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I hope you join us in creating inspiration for others to enjoy, especially for me!

How very beautiful, LeAnn! I love the stenciling (must be something in the water--I did stencils this week, too!). Your flowers in the center are so pretty!
