This week the teapotters are sending cards to each other with the theme of hats at the Kentucky Derby. Went to my small stash of Graphic 45 papers to see if I had something and saw this one with her dog. Now, are dogs allowed at a Derby? Extra cookies for having green on your card to signify a mint Julep. Maybe those are mint leaves? Sponged all edges with hint of pesto.
Also for Sabrina's WT challenge to use lace. Thanks Sandy and Sabrina for the challenges. tfl.

Beautiful card, Shirl. I love Graphic45 paper. I guess dogs would be allowed if they looked like horses. LOL

Gorgeous. Love the amazing layers/framing. The paper combo is excellent, vintage picture is perfect. Fabric, tassel and bow trim are perfect finishing details.

Sweet image. I know that I would find those papers hard to use but I see such fabulous cards made with the G45 papers that I feel I should take a look at them. I like your combination of the two lace trims along with the little tassel. Dogs and horses should be fine, thinking of hunting! Dogs and sheep would be a different matter.
