Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us two soft pastels and a bright, bold color to work with: So Saffron, Pool Party and Poppy Parade. The dessert option this week is stripes, dots or checks. No dessert for me this week, those elements didn't seem to work with my focal image.
This card is also part of the Dare To Get Dirty week. This card is for Mary's challenge.

I will admit I was a little stymied for ideas, but thanks to inspiration from my daughter, I pulled out my ancient Summer By The Sea set, and created this card as an homage to Renee Russo in The Thomas Crown Affair.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper, then used my watercolors to color the scene in this week's palette. I added a few touches of Mossy Meadow equivalent (neutral) for the greens. Double matted and mounted on a Pool Party card base. Added a few gems.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Barbara, what a wonderful, soft, mellow and sweet layout you have created. First of all, using a square for the base, and second, your coloring is beautiful. Well done.
