This is only my second slimline card I have made. They are fun and addicting. This goes to my Grand niece for her 15th birthday. I used stencils one at a time but layering the ink colors as I applied with a makeup brush. When I stamped the image in black onto the linen cs, it didn't print well so I used eggplant over it to get a purple hue. I stamped the sentiments in black only, added washi tape at top and bottom and added Wink of Stella pink to the frosting decorations and nuvo drops to the card.

Love the upside and downside cupcakes. I have not attempted a slim line yet. This is wonderful for a birthday card for your niece. That is such a fun image!

First of all, what a terrific mixed media card! And it was a brilliant idea to use the eggplant to grab that purple hue… I would never have thought of that! You accented it just enough to make the card pop, but not so much that one forgets to look at the whole card. I think this card, like its creator, is a jewel! It’s lovely... Well done!
