Our recipient this week likes blue and flowers. I used my MISTI to position the different floral stamps for stamping...I colored the stamps using Tombow markers and then spritzed with water. I then used a water brush to move the color around. In some cases I repeated the process adding more color to the stamps. I really like the loose watercolor effect of this technique.
For the challenge I used some old supplies...my Tombow markers haven't been used in ages..I was lucky to find some blue ones that weren't dried out. The brads and sentiment die cut are also very old supplies not used in ages.

Polly, those flowers are absolutely gorgeous. They brightened my grey rainy morning and are lovely to see again now. Very happy-making! I like your brads, too.

Polly, this is so gorgeous. Love the sentiment punch on that diecut with those flowery brads. Thanks for describing how you achieved this wonderful flowery look!

I feel bad about not really using my Tombow markers either. I never use them this way, because I don't feel like they're juicy enough. I guess I should try again because you got a beautiful result! Such a pretty card!
