I broke my old trusty Cuttlebug a couple of days ago so had to rummage through my textured panels and found this pearly cake..,.JUST what I needed, and perfect for my step son's upcoming birthday. He has spent weeks building a new garage/wood shop! I just swiped the ink pad, added an embossed sentiment, Stickled the cake and attached with brads. New embossing machine on it's way.

What a fun giant birthday cake, so pretty using this technique. Don’t you feel lost when an important piece of crafting equipment breaks?! I’ve broken two in the past! How nice you had what you needed in your stash!

This "wooden" cake looks good enough to eat even if it is made of sawdust! Fun card, Lori.
