This card is for the Alpha Challenge TY = Telephone and Yellow or YOLO so buy as much craft stash as you want LOL and T for Text on the phone book page. It is also for the Try a New Technique challenge from June using shaving foam.
I knew when I saw that this week's alpha challenge was TY that I wanted to use my new Tim Holtz telephone die...love love it. It reminds me of the telephone we had when I was growing up which my parents only got when I was in my teens. We were always behind the times LOL.
I also had this yummy...well I think it is yummy LOL...panel that I created using my shaving foam and plonking my CS onto. I love the effects I got and I have a few of these panels so you will see them come out now and again.
This came together easily. The phone die cut, Phone text ripped out of my phone book that I use for MM and stabbing when making journals LOL, my notelet pad punched and sentiment die cut. Numbers and wink of Stella added and done.
Don't you love a card that comes together using stash and quickly. I know I do.
TFL. Happy day
PS: In case I have enabled some of you, the telephone die was from Amazon *wink*

So cool. Love your phone die and your fun phone book page. I think I have an old phone book I can use - never thought of that. GREAT idea. This is super fun, Jayne! Hugz

Great page from your phone book. I don't know what I'm going to do when I finish my current one (I use it for embossing on!). The background looks great as a die-cut. I might try that with a couple of mine, I came across them in my background box the other day.

Yes that is what I love also. That and plonking. Awesome die, perfect MM. We had a party line when I was growing up, shared with my best friend. And there was an operator, no dialing.

Terrific old telephone. Blast to the past, but my phone was plain with one color and not a cool pattern. With a rotary dial, I would dislike dialing numbers with 9's or 0's. My home number had three 9's and one 0, so I didn't like to call home. LOL Creative idea to add text from a phone book. Fabulous ideas for Letters T & Y.

Ha, great card, Jayne! We should all have the craft store's number on speed dial, lol....Love the torn page from the phone book! This is so creative and I know you had fun doing this one. Love your title!

Hmmm, naughty, naughty Jayne encouraging me to buy more craft supplies! I'm going to tell my DH that I was instructed to do so, ha! Fun card, I like your shaving cream telephone and so fun to have the phone book bit on the page too. Fun card!

The shaving cream technique is my favorite. I'm always amazed at the end results. Love your phone die and the patterns of color on it. Nice sparkle too~
