After years of drought, heat and a terrible hail storm we have had some lovely wet stuff fall. Last weekend was really wonderful - I spent most it just watching the rain fall and enjoying it. The Garden too - you could just about hear it squealing with happiness. Today the sun is shining and looking out the window the garden is starting to respond to the rain. Blossoms are coming out, daffodils and snow flakes (the flower type) are starting to bloom. The sun is shining and everything looks so nice and freshly washed. What a change from the past few years.
For the Mix Challenge last Friday I decided to use one of my water colour backgrounds and doodle some flowers to create a magical garden. The background was made by splattering and splodging water colour paints around. I then used a micron pen to doodle the flower garden and highlighted it with a white gel pen and some glitter pens and added a sentiment.
Hope you enjoy my doodled flower garden.

Nice
I had to look up snowflake flowers....at first I thought it was like our snowdrops but they are actually different though they come at the same time. Pretty! The awakening of a garden is always so invigorating...makes me want to shake off the winter.

Oh yay, I was hoping to see one of your beautiful doodled gardens. I always preferred the snowflakes to the snowdrops, but don't see them very often nowadays.

I thought of you while watching the weather last week. I believe the burnt forests are already looking amazing - just like your art work. Helen I love everything you do, especially you fantastic doodling!!
