Stamped my flower & sentiment in versamark on Strathmore 300 series WC paper and embossed with Recollecxtions Snow White powder. Since there were some bits of watered down reinker left on my palette, I decided to just use those for coloring today. Did a mix of Pear pizzazz and Garden green for the bg (since my flower doesn't have leaves) then used a combo of Eggplant and Peony for the flower. I like how this turned out and it wqas pretty stress free today - I didn't even freak when I colored outside the lines ( a big step forward for me today - we'll see if it lasts lol)

I freak out when I color outside the lines too, Linda. That's why I always have a magnifying glass close by. This is Beautiful...the flower and the bg! I really like the darker shades of green in your bg~

This turned out so beautifully. I have to smile as I read about your thoughts as you paint with watercolor. I think we have to be prepared to loosen up to really embrace this medium. I love that you combined a couple of different colors as that gives some additional interest. A gorgeous blossom for us today.
