I collaged the tissue Paper, pieces of the bookpages and Napkin Paper on top of my cards, let dry. Used a stencil and gesso on top. For the color I used Gelatos, Distress Ink and water on the dried backgrounds. Overstamped with Versafine and embosst it. Used my black Stabilo pencil to frame one card, used Distress Ink for the second card. Glued the torn paper and the bird on.

Outstanding work on the playing cards. Super techniques you used.

When I see work like this with so many techniques incorporated and done so well, I love it because I learn from seeing work done so well. These are stunningly gorgeous. I love how you have sections that are more abstract, then you use an image of a bird that has such clarity, and it all works together to balance out into a cohesive and artistic whole image in both cases. Wonderful! I think that this may be the first time that I have been blessed to see your artwork.
