This card is for 2 challenges. The S2S challenge in July and also for the Try a New Technique weeks ago using shaving foam/gel.
I'm working my way through my list of challenges and I have a few. It has also been a crappy weekend here and stormy so what else to do, but craft...yay! I also wanted easy as my brain seems to be all over the place at present. When I saw my note on the S2S challenge I knew I had just the BG to use.
I made this BG with our poppets a few weeks ago. I just love making BGs and this one was done using shaving gel, foaming it up and then plonking the foam onto my stencil and CS. When I pulled it out of my stash it was pretty insipid, so I simply got the stencil out again going over it with more colour.
I also used 2 BG bits in my stash, die cut the sentiment and layered them. Love the shadow effect on die cuts.
Twine and bling added and done.
One down, about 20 to go LOL.
TFL. Happy day

Do you know, I still haven't actually tried the shaving foam, of any description, with stencils. I can't imagine how scraping the top layer of foam over a stencil on card would work. But obviously it does!. Love the twine - and the shadowed sentiment.

Great back ground - so much to see and I can just feel the fun of the poppets helping on it - adds to the coolness of course. Love the shadow on the sentiment. VERY cool. HUgz
