Congrats to Kelly, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the big feather but used different images & dies & made mine a rainbow feather instead of monochrome.
For my card, I used only one part of a two part, watercolor image. Instead of using the watercolor part, I opted to color my feather in using Copics. I really like the almost zentangle look of this feather & thought it would look great w/ a rainbow of colors filling it in. The stitched frame was stamped using 3 light colors of ink & a few gems were added along w/ the greeting underneath.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & product links: The Write Stuff

Wow! Simply gorgeous. I love the coloring of the feather and the stitching, also.

LOVE. Stood out from the gallery as a stunner for sure. I really like the zentangle look too! Your coloring is perfect, and the way you echoed the rainbow in the stitching is so smart. TFS!

Oh wow. That feather is lovely, but you made it so much more so by coloring it in the rainbow colors!
