The Friday Free For All Challenge this week (F4A546 - Hello - 8/7/20), was to use the word hello or hi on a card.
I kept the layout for this card super simple to allow the image and sentiment to be the focus. The only out of the ordinary thing I did on this card was to use 2 diecut layers of black cardstock stacked underneath the blue buffalo check layer to add depth and a bit of a shadow around the inside edges of the distressed oval.
I did the same technique with black CS layers underneath the small sentiment oval. Finished it off by lacing frayed thread through 2 tiny holes and knotting it.
Many thanks for popping by and looking at my simple mountain lake hello.

Awesome mountain scene. Love how you framed it with the distressed edged oval and the plaid. A terrific hello card! So good to see you in the gallery again. Thanks for sharing!

Your gallery is a delight to visit. I love the subtle color of the buffalo check stamp. I have issues with that stamp. It sure looks good on that c.s. you used. Your scene in the funky edged oval is awesome in black. Funky in a good way, I mean, lol. This is one lovely card!
