I love playing with the A/I's and the technique by Jennifer McGuire; Smooth Alcohol Ink Backgrounds
This background is one of those, but mine is small loops with the felt covered ruler.
The cat is made with a piece of mixed media paper I used the WCW009 technique on, though I used a black Lumiere paint. Maybe that is why it dried somewhat shiny. Speaking of that, my pieces dried in about 5 minutes with the 100 + degree heat we have where I live. I love how this technique works on the cat, it looks like a Classic Tabby. I die cut several cats from this black sheet of mixed media paper. The hello is 2 layers thick.

The pattern you achieved on the kitty is perfection! So cool...and that embossed background of swirly leaf fronds provides a wonderful magical garden backdrop for the kitty playing with with butterflies. Delightful addition to the hello challenge!
