I've had this set from Neat & Tangled for ages but had to work up to using the trees as there's quite a bit of colouring involved. First try with watercolour pens didn't quite work.
So, I stamped the image again with Distress Inks, pulled the ink in with a waterbrush and added some watercolour pen so I could create some shadows. I'd used a stamp platform to stamp the image and I put the card back in the platform and stamped the image again with the original green in so the lines are sharp again. I was happy with that, it looked much clearer once over-stamped.
I'd bought some VERY cheap make up brushes and had a go with them on this card. I find that to get any depth of colour, I need to start with a slightly darker colour than I'd like to begin with. I have three shades of blue DI on here - you can't really see the palest one though! It looked a bit too bright so I took out my blending brush for black ink only and went round with that until I was happy.
I added some snow writer to the hill and then found some fluffy stuff to stick over it so it's kind of sparkly, fluffy snow now. I used paint to add the snow in the sky, much easier than using a white pen.

Wow, gorgeous card! I love how you colored the trees.
