This is going out to Tana, this week's Teapot receipient, who is recovering from a fall from rescuing her cat off the roof. She is one dedicated fur mama!
We were challenged to make silly animal cards and mine has a cat hanging upside down in the tree and the whole center is on an action wobble, so this cat is a wild one. I intended to use some of my patterned paper (my goal this year), but couldn't find one with purple in it that I thought fit, so I stamped the woodgrain on purple. That was the part that took the longest on this card was figuring that out. . . I really wanted to use purple to get my extra cookies! So, then I went to trim the purple panel and one corner tore in my trimmer, so I just snipped all the corners. One of the letters smudged and I had more antics than I care to share with coloring. But the perfectionist in me finally just went with it and had fun. I even doodled a bit! And of course, I had to play with the wobbler when I was done.

Perfect! One would never know you experienced the challenges you did if you hadn't mentioned them. Extra cookies for you. Am I allowed to say that? Who doles out the cookies anyway? If this is a problem, come sit with me. You can have some of mine.

Adorable. I love those Penny Black cats and this one upside down is a smiler-getter for sure. I think the woodgrain was the perfect backdrop for him. Love your layers, jewels and coloring. Seems a lot of people are having trouble with the gremlins right now, but this turned out fabulous in spite of them.

Love your cheerful PB kitty. I had to look up the set . The one with the mouse blowing the dandelion, that as a rubber woodmount was my first ever PB purchase. The colouring is fab, I like the shading in the circle. Favourited - so I'm sorry the Favourites thread is still out of action.
