This is my first attempt at the Slimline card technique and I really like the look of something different from the regular A2 we usually make. The only drawback as I see it is having to make an envelope to fit it. Fortunately there are several videos on YouTube to refer to.

This is absolutely stunning! I find the use of grey and ivory to be very elegant. Those flowers have great dimension partially from the ink shading, so many details that I wish I had a close-up view of some details because it's all so very beautiful. A truly wonderful card!
Gorgeous! There is a super video linked in the Slimline thread in General Stamping using 8 1/2" x 11" paper; a couple of scores, a couple of folds, and you have a pretty envelope. The maker calls these Jen-velopes. There are 2 templates available: one top opening like a policy envelope, and one opening like a business envelope.

Caution: You are entering an artistic zone. This is not clutter - this is creating. These are not pajamas - it's my work uniform.

This is really beautiful! I just purchased the Prized peony stamp set and have not used it yet. You sure have inspired me to get it out and give it a try!
