This card started out as a panel for the Wednesday watercolour salt technique. Our DGD and DGS came to play and we had fun creating panels. The BG one was one DGD made..she loves pink..and donated to me. It was done on plain CS and didn't show the salt as the one created using glossy CS.
It came in handy after I had dried my own panel. Originally I was going to use it as a BG, but when I saw the Free for All technique and apparel challenge I knew I wanted it to make a dress, hat and boots. This gal likes to look good and she needed a lift after I accidentally stuffed up her face and cut it off..eek. What else to do but die cut another one and stick on top. Phew, thank goodness for pearls to cover up her bad hairdo on the previous attempt. Liquid pearls added on her apparel and gold paint on her underskirt.
Panel stamped and splashed with gold paint, quote added and done. It came together quickly once I'd sorted her head out. Shame about her face. Need practice on that one lol.
TFL. Happy day

What a great card you've created. I love how you used the cheesecloth and you made her such a pretty hat and dress. Wonderful background, too. Sounds and looks as if fun was had by all. A good rescue for the face. LOL Using salt is so fun.

Jayne, I am grinning from ear to ear, and if you had not mentioned she had two heads I would never have guessed the pearls were hiding the line. I love all the dimension and textures too

Love that gauze petticoat. So artsy and fabulous texture. You always seem to cover the elements of art so well on your cards. Love it.

They say that two heads are better than one. I burst out laughing when I read your description. Nice save Jayne, that is a fine face lift LOL. Let's get serious - your background is brilliant, I love the subtle shift in the colours (tell mini Jayne she did a great job). Your fashionista looks magic in her salted watercoloured frock. Take care my west coast Aussie mate.

Oh my gosh, this is my fave of your newest posts! She is totally fabulously dressed. I LOVE the cheesecloth - I am going to get some as I can't find mine and this gives me like 20 ideas. Wonderful girl! Wonderful techniques and layers. LOVE IT! Hugz
