Jayne (Ozpom) and Nancy (NWilliams6) shared some fun mixed media videos which caused me to pull out this tag and experiment.
I started with a TH stencil sponging a couple of distress inks over the entire tag. I sponged the edges with Antique Photo DI. Now what to do? I got out my texture paste and another TH stencil and put random dots on the tag. I then added gesso randomly as well. Now time to wait for drying.
I had this piece of tissue that was already stamped with script and glued it onto the tag. I then sponged a little more color here and there on the tag. I stamped small images around the tag in soft ink colors, they aren't very visible. I then die cut the circle paper and adhered it to the tag and doodled around it with a SU marker.. This beautiful butterfly was in my stash and I added it to the front of the tag. I stamped the sentiment but it didn't stamp very well, so I went over it with the SU marker. Cream ribbon through the top and decided I was done.
It was a fun process, thanks for looking!

I am so in the 'tag' mood lately, thanks to Nancy. hhaha This is so lovely and makes me wish i had emb paste, only S U Silver and it dries shiny and ??. must invest in different. : ) anyway, LOVE the tissue words and the sweet calm femininity of the choices. TFS and inspiring me. T
