For the Alpha R challenge. R for rose and ruching. Here is the link to ruching ribbon:
First try and it worked but the ends of the ribbon were hard to deal with for how I wanted to do it on this which was leaving them hanging in the breeze, but I think it looks alright. (Would probably work fine if you were tucking the ends under c.s.) I adhered it with some double sided sticky tape.
Sponged inks on Bristol and diecut the rose and leaves and sprayed it with water. I diecut a stitched oval to put the rose and leaves on and thought I needed something more at the base of it, so investigated ribbon ruching. I stamped the sentiment on the under side of the Bazzill as it is less textured and takes ink better. Ask me how I know that, lol. Sponged the edges of dp and leaves with hint of pesto. thanks for looking.
