When I saw Stef's colors this week I said "WOW! The two greens are fairly traditional but that pink is bright!"
Let's just say my first poinsettia could be used as a safety vest at night! So to tone down the color, I stamped off the image first and then watercolored the flower using second generation image. I used my Stamparatus and restamped the image to get the crisp lines.
I stamped, watercolored and restamped for the leaves as well, but I started with Just Jade and then my second stamping was with the Shaded Spruce.
Ultimately I'm pleased with how this turned out but I will say I'll only be using Magenta Madness in small quantities! LOL!

Oh Jeanne, this is so pretty and perfect with these colors! I know, Magenta Madness is almost an electric pink, right? I love your beautiful watercolored poinsettia!

Yours is gorgeous as well Jeanne!! I love love love the pearl center!! I may have toned the magenta down just s bit with some shading but only at the base of the petals to shadow. The edges are the full strength and yes - it’s a color that could light a dark room!!! ;) I love your clean lines too - a lovely creation!!
