Featured Stamper Challenge honoring Debby aka Limedoodle
Her gallery is spectacular and so full of amazing cards and inspiration! I was inspired by her gorgeous daffodils on this card but in no way does mine measure it to Debby's amazing creation.
Debby inspired me to use two colors on my flowers and leaves when I usually use one color in different strengths. I started out with a paint brush and watercolor paints, but I did not like the way the paint dried, so I switched to my usual dye inks. However, I did keep the paintbrush instead of changing to my usual water brush, so that was step out of my comfort zone. I definitely need more practice, but I stretched my creative muscles today. I used the new SU In Colors with some core colors. I tapped each of the ink pads on a corner of an acrylic block and added water to paint. When I was done, I used the paint brush to lightly splatter the rest of the ink. The sentiment is heat embossed. Added dots, glitter on the flowers and a gingham bow.
Thank you, Debby for sharing your amazing cards with us and for inspiring mine today!
Thanks for looking!

Oh, your card is so pretty. We chose the same card to case. I'm with you, Debby has incredible watercolor cards. I was kind of embarrassed to upload mine. Your daffodils came out beautifully and I love how you added the gingham ribbon. I can never seem to find a place to put ribbons now days, but you aced it.
