I wanted to try the negative watercoloring tutorial but didn't have a background stamp or stencil that would work. After watching the tutorial video, the stamp set that came to mind was Fifth Avenue Floral and the gorgeous rose in that set.
Because I was stamping repeatedly on watercolor paper, I was thankful to have my Misti. I stamped, cleaned, repositioned the stamp, masked previous stamping, and stamped again until I had covered the entire panel with the rose.
Then I followed Dina's directions in her video (she makes it look so easy!). After finishing the watercolor panel, I didn't want to trim it so decided to make a 5x7 card which works for this month's Misti challenge.
I matted the watercolor panel with white cs, added a vellum strip, and a stacked sentiment placing all of that on a Gorgeous Grape base.
Fun tutorial, thank you! Thanks for looking!

So beautiful! Love the many shades of purple. Glad you didn't trim it down, but kept it a the 5 X 7 size.
