I'm very late posting my card today. My mean old hubby made me leave my card half done so we could take the boat out on the pond for the afternoon. I guess it was a good thing after all. We were the second to the last boat before they closed the boat ramp. I enjoyed today's inspiration site. I found this wallpaper that inspired me to use this feather stamp set that was on my waiting list. But I wanted brighter colors and decided to form them into a wreath. It was a lot of working stamping and die cutting these feathers. I used three different inks and just kind of randomly inked them up. My ink pads are a little stained now. I can't have nice things. I drew a circle on the paper and glued the feathers around. The top layer of feathers was burnished for a rounded shape and popped on foam squares. Finished off with a ribbon and twine bow and spatter Nuvo Mica Mist. The nozzle is clogged so I just had to unscrew the cap and splatter. That's my first Nuvo product that has gotten clogged. I always have such good luck with them.

So clever to make a wreath out of your feathers..and I really like that you used all those different colors of ink. Hope you and your mean DH had fun today...what if they closed it before you got out...would you be stuck there overnight??

I think sacrificing your ink pads to make this was worth it. This card is fabulous. Love the wreath layout with that bow. Fab as always. Glad you got some boat time with dh. That's a whole different kind of inspiration.
Sounds like you had a lovely day! So fun that you were able to get your card finished and enjoy an outing! Your wreath is gorgeous! You used a fabulous color combo.

Ooh I figured for sure you had inked the rubber with markers to get that color flow so I am totally impressed you did that with pads. That took me by surprise that your boat ramp closed too. ( are they counting boats that go onto the water to social distance them?) The colors are gorgeous btw
