I'm not sure how successful I was with this technique but it was fun trying it out. I decided to use a background I had made a few months ago while I was fooling around with alcohol pearl inks and blending solution. I stenciled the butterflies in black ink but they look more like a soft gray. I guess that's because of the alcohol pearl ink. They have a pretty pearl sheen to them and look better in person. I stamped the sentiment in black on white paper and bordered it and the card front in black before attaching to a white card base. I also don't think it looks CAS but the butterflies are going up.
