Sabrina has challenged us to use typewriters on our cards today and I recently got this freebie from All Dressed Up. I cut it with my ScanNCut and also stamped a cut some little Waffle Flower flowers. I also had a Typewriter alphabet stamp set that I've never use. As you can see, I had to stamp the HEL and then the LO and didn't necessarily line them up very well. That's what makes it look handmade, right? I missed the Featured Stamper challenge this weekend, so I went looking through Debra's (derck) gallery for inspiration and I found this. I was inspired to keep the "Just a Note" theme and the rainbow stripes in Debra's card inspired my rainbow of hellos. I also kept her thin black frame on a colored cardbase. Thanks for the inspiration, Debra! I stamped the rainbow of hellos and then colored the typewriter and flowers. Popped them up on foam squares and decorated with Stickles and Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

Fun blue typewriter. My old Royal (wish I still had it!) was blue. Typed a lot of term papers in college!

Adorable! I love the non-typical brightness and cheeriness of this card... we see so much "vintage" and rather dull colors with typewriters but this one is gorgeous!!!

How bright, happy and totally fun, Jen. I like your background. I wanted to use my typewriter key stamps but didn't have time. I remember my real typewriter sometimes went crooked too, if the paper wasn't locked in properly. Loving the sparkle on the flowers.

Love the fun rainbow of hellos on this happy card, Jen! I would have loved typing my papers on this pretty Blue typewriter instead of the boring black one we had.
