Card for Polly's (peeps321) Teaparty Challenge, Ribbon or Washi. The recipient loves the color turquoise, dogs, and nature, and needs some cheer and good thoughts!
Polly has suggested that we use ribbon or Washi tape from our stash on our cards for this challenge, because we all have more ribbon and/or Washi tape than we will ever use in a lifetime! I know I do..."Hi, my name is LizBeth, and I am a ribbon addict..." :-)
Sweet Bella was stamped on the Mixed Media paper, colored with colored pencils, & then fussy-cut. I added a bit of Crystal Effects to her heart-shaped dogtag, and popped her up with dimensionals on the die-cut slope. I love that DSP with the clouds and bird...this is my last piece of it, and I hope it will bring a smile to our recipient.
I folded the ribbon back & forth, gluing as I went with Fabri-tac glue. (if anyone else has a love/hate relationship with Fabri-tac, raise your hand!!) I put mini-staples at each end, & added a brad because the ribbon needed something at that last fold. Added the punched-out sentiment & some bitty turquoise bling.
TFL!

So sweet! Cute image and I like the brad over the ribbon. Love your "hello...ribbon addict" comment. Years ago, I taught classes through our city Parks and Rec department and I always introduced myself with "hello, my name is Vicki and I'm a stamp addict".

The bird is part of the paper design? How sweet, no wonder you loved it. I've never tried that particular glue, but gluing ribbon is never fun. I like the little mini staples and brad. What a great way of incorporating ribbon.

Hello LizBeth..LOL. I adore that dp paper and how sweet that you were willing to part with it for Robin. I think it works perfectly with that adorable dog image. I love the dp you used for the hill too. Wonderful card.

What a clever way to make that ribbon cooperate with you - staples and a brad! And so decorative, too! I'd have never thought to use ribbon that way, and I have tons of that sort of ribbon! Great idea! Yours is a sweet card and is sure to bring a smile. The pup's expression is so cute! (And I'm a sucker for extra shiny bits on cards - the heart on the collar is the perfect finishing touch!)
