For watercolor & sketch challenges. Two shades of blue watercolor wet on wet for the background. Tan watercolor for die cuts, wet on wet. Die cut the starfish and sand dollars. Used a scrap of water colored paper for the tag after I messed up the first sentiment stamping. Assembled all the pieces onto navy base.
The background was watercolored and covered with Epsom salts. I know this was not the suggested type of salt, but I was curious. The salts crystallized after I sprayed with water. I heat dried and then had to scrape off about 1/16th inch of crystals. Really happy with the result. BUT.... nothing would stick to it. I even tried diamond accents. Finally, the answer is score tape and it took forever to cut the tiny pieces and tease the non-stick portion off to cover the backs of the sand dollars & starfish.

Your sky and ocean look great with the Epsom salt. So many kinds of salt and so little time to make all the cards I want to try. Very nice wet on wet watercoloring for your die cuts and background. I love a nautical card and this one is so pretty

GMTA, but you went the extra mile adding the watercolor challenge to this as well. Clever idea since sea and salt seem to go hand in hand. Pretty card, Priscilla!
