This is the 15th card uploaded of approximately 50 hand-stitched cards I made, 44 of those were given to my Mom, who is a master cross-stitcher. For years I had been looking for a way to incorporate hand-stitching on my cards to make for my Mom. When I watched a wonderful video tutorial by Jennifer McGuire, who introduced the Paper Smooches Hand-stitching die as well as how to stitch and a few basic stitches, I knew that I had found my answer.
All of the patterns that I have uploaded and color combinations have been my own. I have made 2 hand-stitched pieces that I made into cards that I copied the patterns, if I upload those, I will acknowledge my source.
This was created to look like a sampler, but I used more vivid colors of embroidery yarn, and I die-cut the thanks sentiment from purple fun foam, then I brushed on a layer of Glossy Accents to give the sentiment a shiny look like hopefully molten glass.
Thank you for stopping by to take a closer look at my hand-stitched card. When you take the time and the effort to leave a comment, it is very encouraging, whether it is my card or someone else's card.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my card Joanne, especially as it lead me back to your wonderful gallery and seeing all of these amazing cards, handstitched with love and thread. Your Mum's heart must smile every time she sends one.
