I missed the TLC on Monday while I was in Maryland, but couldn't wait to get home and try it. Funny thing is that I had Youtube up on the TV while I was working on it and it happened to play the Gina K and Rina K video that this technique came from. I just got this stencil from MFT. It's really neat, but it's a tough one to use. I got some smudges that I tried to cover up with Enamel Accents. I also got a smudge on one of my circles from the Colorburst powders of my other card. Anyway, I liked the sketch as a way to showcase the cool background. Good to be back in my craft room and catching up on challenges.

Always nice to come home, right? Smudges are a part of life....I love your card, and I fully subscribe to those words. I can't give up butter crunch ice cream or wine (just not together!).

Love that stripped paper and that sentiment looks like one I need for my collection (and my excuse-LOL)!! We went 50 miles down to a beach house on the coast this weekend for only 3 days, but it is always good to be home. I had some new stamping prizes and stamps waiting in the mail when I got there, so it was kind of a great reason to celebrate being home. I kind of enjoy my "quarantined" life for the most part and all the stamping time it gives me. Sometimes it is good to be old and with less demands on my life. LOL I always have to count the good things since the bad things often out number them.

The stripes are super! I have a couple striped stencils and they are hard to work with. I luv being home, but some days I wish I could just go be with friends. I always loved coming home any time I had been away.

Love the bold yellow and black background with your sentiment, Jen! What a fabulous card for both challenges...now I need to go try that background technique!
