I think I have three kinds of snow in my background. One with Kosher salt, snow with white paint, and stamped snowflakes. I think my Kosher salt snow has melted before it hit the ground. That's my story.
I used an old set for the snowman animals and two of the trees. It was fun to get it out again. I watercolored the images and fussy cut. I used Dazzling Diamonds on the bunny snowman's hat....not showing much, if at all.
Misted my paper, brushed on the blue background ink to Mixed Media paper, sprinkled on my Kosher salt, misted a little, let dry, and rubbed off the salt. I tried this with a smooth watercolor paper and it didn't do so well. Into the trash bin. The tutorial also recommended glossy paper. And, I think cold press w/c would work.

This looks fabulous Bbbrenda. The salted background is the perfect backdrop for those very cute snowmen. Thanks for another great challenge, I'm still practicing lol.

Your salted background turned out beautifully! It's wonderful for a snowy sky! This is a fabulous challenge because you get a different result every time! You know I adore that kitty snowman! Love it!

The bg is so dreamy and has so much depth. Those darling, and perfectly accessorized critters have just the right size noses and rounds to echo the sky. I love your layout, too.
