Today's tea party is for Robin, a friend of our very own Jen (Miss Boo). I think it's appropriate that the Pup image I'm using today is one that came as a RAK gift from Jen a while back . . . .
I colored up the image with prismacolor pencils then decided to frame it in Robin's favorite color. Die cut the Aqua frame and mounted the pup inside it. Added the Unity sentiment which seemed quite apropos with these 2 cuties. I struggled a bit with how to add the requisite washi or ribbon - in the end did a partial frame then tilted the focal image for a bit more whimsy. The washi had streaks of aqua (good) but was predominately lime so I went looking in my stash and found 3 lonesome lime colored enamel dots - these not only added some balance to my Pup portrait but kept the lime in the washi from feeling overwhelming.

Linda this is so cute! Jen is going to love that you're using the image she sent you. I love the postage stamp die cut frame...it adds an extra zing! And your washi placement is perfect!

Cute image, nice framing and I love those lonesome lime dots you found. What cool washi tape! Which reminds me that I bought some with words on it a la dymo tape on that trip to Cork - I must pull it out and use it.
